Like I don’t punish you guys enough by rambling on, I’ve decided to begin a 30 day writing challenge this October.

Is it considered cheating if I’ve already sketched out some ideas for the first few days? I’m not worried that I’ll stop after day 4 and embarrass myself (okay, I am a little worried), but I just wanted to factor in some extra time considering I have a career that sometimes burdens one with unforeseen and unpredictable deadlines. I’ve been on Pinterest (I have a love-hate relationship with that thing) and I searched for some 30 day blogging challenges. Some were really specific which apparently I don’t like, others had questions which didn’t really apply to me. So, this is what I’ve finally decided to go ahead with, the one-word prompts are generic so it should be easy, right? Right?

If you think I’m doing this crazy thing alone, you’re…probably right but that won’t stop me from coercing others. I’m nominating some of the awesome bloggers I already follow to complete the challenge with me. WordPress is beginning to feel a little dry and it seems everyone I know including especially me, okay maybe only me, needs some motivation to get going.

I nominate:

1. Tam at you better get your backside back on wordpress dot com
2. Ms R at serendipity8078
3. Ms P at Ala Asass
4. Mary at lifeswoventapestry
5. Suze at obsoletechildhood
6. Aisha at aishawrites
7. Iounas at salafimuslimom
8. Naureen at newsbynaureen
9. Miss L at adventuresofmissl
10. Miss Anonymous at prayersandplans
11. Lina at astoryofatoms
12. Safiyah at scottishmuslimah

Ladies, even if you only make it half way like I probably will, you have a head start to plan ahead so no excuses ;). Of course anyone not tagged is welcome to join, make sure to ping-back your blog in the comments below so I can read too.

Looking forward to October!
